Abigail and Roy Wedding

Sopley Mill was the venue for Abigail and Roy's pretty Dorset countryside wedding day. After all the preparations with Jane photographing Abigail and her bridesmaids with their hairdresser and makeup artist and Earle joining Roy at the Fisherman's Haunt earlier in the day we headed off to Sopley Mill for a 3.30 pm wedding ceremony.

Abigail and her father were transported in complete elegance from her home to Sopley by Roy's father in his beautiful vintage Rolls Royce which has a fascinating history attached to it and many hours spent in bringing this wonderful vehicle back to its original glory. The bride and groom shone with pure happiness throughout their wedding ceremony and afterwards everyone was able to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine out in the riverside garden before the wedding breakfast.

Abigail and Roy were happy to stay within the area of the mill for their whole day so we were able to capture some stunning images of them both with the sun sinking down during the evening and the river meandering off towards Christchurch.

Abigail and Roy created a dream country wedding and they can be proud of what they achieved, it was a lovely day and we hope you both carry the happiest of memories from it for all time. Warmest congratulations to you both on your marriage.
