Emma and Nathan Wedding

Emma and Nathan are a lovely young local couple who chose to marry at the idylic St Stephens church at Pamphill on the Kingston Lacey Estate in Wimborne, Dorset on the weekend of the Wimborne Folk Festival, an event they attended every year together. They set the time for their wedding at late afternoon and the atmosphere around the church for the arrival of their guests and the wedding party could not have been better. The long drive way and avenue of trees presented the perfect backdrop to the church as the Pink Cadillac and Blue Buick meandered up carrying the Bride, her Father and the Bridesmaids with Jane, Emma's Mother who looked very elegant in her thoughtfully created outfit. The whole day was great, with loads of humour, banter and happiness. After the ceremony and wedding breakfast we walked with Nathan and Emma away from the Clubhouse where their wedding reception was held towards the golf course and had some quieter time relaxing and taking pictures of them in a very tranquil setting before setting off to the thrills and spills of the Wimborne Folk Festival where the Bride and Groom amazed themselves at how we can all be carried along on the crest of a wave! As we all walked through the Square a ripple of applause grew from just a few to around 500 people on the Minster lawn and surrounding area! The band was playing and promptly changed their tune to 'Congratulations' with the crowd singing along - all for Emma and Nathan, who with a little encouragement agreed to dance along as a thank you to all their wellwishers! It will be amazing if this special moment is ever forgotten - it really was fantastic to experience such warmth from such a huge crowd of complete strangers. We really hope Emma and Nathan you carry the happiest of memories from this wonderful day and will enjoy sharing them with your family and friends. Of course the pictures you will carry will tell the parts of the story only you two and us know! (Well along with the Folk Festival bods).
