Julia and Mark Wedding

Lulworth Castle over in the Purbecks was the venue for Julia and Mark's superb wedding. It was remarkable on many levels but maybe the one aspect that really needs to be noted is Grandma's arrival. As the bride rolled up the long driveway in the beautiful vintage car with her bridal party.... Grandma was arriving on the back lawn in a very modern high tech helicopter!!! She was popping in for the ceremonies and champagne then flying off again in time for dinner in Surrey- what style. Even Lulworth Castle had to treat this occasion as a first.

Everyone was holding their breath the day before, and in the morning as far as the weather was concerned, things pretty bad were forecast but the sun shone and again the wind blew bringing wonderful billowing clouds adding fantastic atmosphere to the photographs. Julia and Mark had two ceremonies for their wedding, one in the castle then straight across to the dear little church in the grounds for a really joyous ceremony with the most uplifting music I think I have ever experienced within a church - the gospel choir raised the roof!

Later in the day we raced off with Julia and Mark to Lulworth Cove for some stunning and creative images just before the sun finally went down, where they were cheered along by the beach side restuarant's customers. We returned to the castle just in time for Julia to change into her second wedding dress(!) have a drink and then outside again to watch a tremendous firework display and the party continued.......

Julia you looked every part Queen of your castle and Mark a very worthy King of the Castle!!!! Congratulations to you both and thank you for choosing us to photograph your wedding day.
