Jenny and Mark Wedding

DAY 1

This was the day Jenny and Mark actually did the legal bit of their marriage! An intimate civil ceremony in Cheltenham featuring the 'frog song' during the register signing which was really the signature of Jenny and Mark's 2 day wedding celebrations - meaningful and heartfelt yet lighthearted and definately with an imaginative theatrical influence. 2 special days to be remembered!

After the ceremony we were able to amble along a slightly damp Cheltenham high street taking photographs all the way finally arriving at 'The Mayflower' for a long and tasty lunch amongst lively company.

DAY 2

Earle and I met up with Jenny and Mark on their second wedding morning in their 'Out of Africa' hotel room at the stylish Beaumont House Hotel and were able to spend a sparkling few hours photographing their preparations and take some beautiful couple portraits before we all set off with Jenny's two delightful bridesmaids to 'The Daffodil'. This is a fascinating art nouveaux cinema now recreated into a period restuarant and bar. It was here Jenny, Mark and their guests celebrated their Humanist ceremony. This was the first ceremony of this description we had experienced and the individualism Jenny and Mark were able to inject into it reflected their match perfectly. Just as the day before the music was inspired and varied, clearly showing the immense talent they both enjoy. Mark looked quite the Dandy in his brocade jacket and carefully embroidered waistcoat and Jenny was stunning in her deep red bodiced gown and fascinator. Earle and I managed to drag them away from their lively party for a short while after the sun went down to have fun doing some creative photography using the night time lights of the town, making some truly atmospheric images reflecting the theatrical theme of the day. Everything about Jenny and Mark's wedding was extraordinary and truly wonderful, a radiant bride and thrilled groom - huge and many congratulations to you both.
