Shelley and Paul Wedding

First of all apologies to Shelley and Paul for taking a few days longer to place their wedding on our blog than we had promised. Your wedding day was very special, not least because of the obvious bond which ties you both, all through the day Earle and I kept overhearing your guests commenting on this quality within your relationship. Shelley, her bridesmaid Lisa and I had a lovely girlie time preparing for the ceremony in the morning with Shelley's mum at her home while Earle met with the boys at The Orchid Hotel where the ceremony and reception was taking place. From our very first meeting Shelley and Paul made it clear the photography was a key part to their wedding day and happily placed their complete trust in Earle and me - a huge compliment which we take very seriously. We were therefore lucky enough as photographers to be given ample opportunity to work with the bride and groom really closley for the whole day and achieve some really pleasing and individual images for them. There was as ever this summer concern over the weather situation, in fact the sun shone brilliantly all day giving everyone the chance to enjoy the courtyard environment of The Orchid Hotel as well as their boutique rooms. Once the sun had gone lower in the sky and the wedding breakfast was completed we trundled off to the beach with Shelley and Paul to capture some relaxed images on the sand with the last of the daylight time. We had a wonderful chance encounter with a chap in the car park and his dog statue which he keeps in the back of his classic american pick up truck.... well talk about a red rag!!!! We approached him and were delighted when he agreed for us to use his truck for a few final shots with the bride and groom! What fun was that!!!! Eventually we all tore ourselves away from the truck and beach and returned to The Orchid and the lively party going on there with all the family and friends, a party which got even livelier with Shelley and Paul there! Have fun you two, enjoy your images and more importantly your life together.

Jane & Earle,

Thanks for adding to our day and making it so special.

Jane, you were marvelous at helping Shelley prepare for the big day and Earle helped me feel completely relaxed in the build up to the wedding.

We are really looking forward to seeing some photos of the wedding, especially with those ideas you had for us both.

We've been checking the blog daily and are really excited to see that we might be able to see some photos fairly soon.

All our friends and relatives are already asking us when then might be able to see the pictures as word has got out about them.

A very excited,

Paul & Shelley

Shelley you looked so wonderful, especially by the sea together. The photo by the white doors looked so dramatic, could have been from a film set, wow!
Congratulations to you both
